Bucket Warehouse Basketball Academy is a dedicated basketball training facility based in Mitchell, just north of Canberra's CBD. Founded and run by Head Coach Ken Emelifeonwu, the academy delivers fundamentals-first development programs to young players across the ACT, from the Lil Buckets entry-level group through to the Bucket Cadets U16–U18s. The facility houses a Dr. Dish basketball shooting machine, a weight room, Vertimax and resistance training equipment, plus court space available for hire. The academy's headline development pathway, Bucket Cadets, is delivered by Phil Brown, a former Australian National Coach and NBL player, and focuses on the fundamental skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork) that compound into long-term player development.

Bucket Warehouse runs Dr. Dish shooting workouts as a core part of how their athletes get reps up in Canberra. Players can book individual or partner sessions on the Dr. Dish machine and work through customisable shooting programs that deliver high-volume, location-specific shooting work, making it possible to put up five times more shots than a rebound-yourself session would allow.
